MEET THE PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
Adam Durr
Adam Daugherty Durr is a youth organizer from Williamston, Michigan. He is currently pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Legal Studies at Northwestern University, with a minor in Business Institutions. His time in youth politics began in 2023 when he co-founded the College Democrats of Illinois. He currently serves in all levels of the CDA, as the Co-President of the Northwestern College Democrats, the Vice President of the College Democrats of Illinois, and the CDA’s National Programming Director. In 2024, Adam represented Michigan’s 7th Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention.
His political activism is motivated by a desire to end mass shootings, build an economy that uplifts the middle class, protect civil rights, and to win back young men and rural voters to the progressive movement. In his spare time, Adam enjoys running Triathlons, hiking, writing novels, and learning languages.
